Hey again! I decided it was time to put together another shop-with-me type of post, so I got out my laptop and started doing some searches across the web for some nice summery bits to add to my wardrobe. I've put together all my fave currently-available things into some cute outfits that I'd typically wear during the summer, so I hope you will like them too! If you do, remember you can shop the clothes I've styled in each outfit directly from the links in this blog post! The first three outfits are occasion-specific but after that I have some outfits for daily wear. So let's get to it.
1. A bit of 'summer wedding guest' outfit inspo:

The second I saw this gorgeous coral/orangey/pink coloured dress on Missguided I knew it would be gorgeous as a wedding guest dress for Summer! The colour alone is a perfect Summer statement but the frilly, flowy look it offers is what makes it stand out most to me! It's so elegant.
As you can see I chose to team it with these gold block heel sandals and this adorable H&M clutch bag with seashell details.
Quite simple, but stunning, and also affordable if you want to look lovely for the occasion without breaking the bank.
2. Festival inspo

While I'm not going to any festivals this summer I know people are very eager to see some festival outfit ideas lately. So I saw this amazzzzzzing black glitter jumpsuit on ISawItFirst and it immediately stood out to me. Honestly festival fashion doesn't interest me much so when I see festival clothes online many of them don't jump out at me - but this absolutely did! I'd wear it like the model is - with a black bandeau and black high leg pants underneath. Then I'd team it with some black Docs (or dupes if you have them! I have a pair from Penneys and I love them), and of course a bumbag worn over the shoulder.
3. Some more festival inspo

For the second festival outfit I went for something you could wear for other occasions/events too - this is definitely more like something I'd wear for a day out. The first thing I saw from this outfit was the shoes - a brown western-style knee high boot. I am just OBSESSED! After finding those I searched for a belt bag to match and found this cute PLT one (which I can see myself wearing A LOT if I buy it). As it's a festival look I was trying to achieve I looked for a cute basic dress and fell in love with this nude one! The sleeves on it and the bow detail on the chest are all so cute! Finally I'd accessorize with some layered gold chains (my go-to accessory!) and use a brown scrunchie to do a half-ponytail look at the top of my head! Obsessed with this look and I know it would be gorgeous with a nice tan!
4. When life gives you lemons..

As I've mentioned more than a few times now that lemon is one of my favourite colours, I went searching for some lemon clothes and came across these beauts. I'm actually going to buy these ASAP because I actually wear culottes and wide leg trousers a lot during summer so I know these will serve me well over the years to come. If you didn't know, lemon is literally the best colour to wear (besides white) when you want to show off your gorgeous tan.
Anyway, because these culottes are a true stand-out piece I decided to style them with basics - a basic white square-neck bodysuit and some white espadrille sandals, topped off with a fab straw bag worn crossbody (this one includes a long strap that isn't shown in the photo). Side note: I bought a bag almost identical to this in Penneys for only a fiver! It might be sold out in your local store as I got the last one in my store but have a look for it!
This outfit would be perfect anyday during summer no matter what your plans are - it's comfy and stylish and easy to throw together!
5. While on the topic of lemon... How about some lemon print?

HOW CUTE is this bright pink and yellow co ord from Zara?! I love the top in particular so I'd actually love to buy that alone and wear it with a pair of shorts/jeans/trousers/a denim skirt. Anyway this screams summertime to me and I can imagine myself packing this as a holiday outfit if I was heading off to the sun! The lemon crossbody bag is another thing I fell in love with online because I love the perspex detailing! (I didn't choose any shoes for this outfit because I think the sandals on the model are the perfect match, and you can find this style of sandal everywhere.)
6. Okay maybe something a lil' bit less bright..

Not everyday in summer is a day you want to wear colours bright enough to stop traffic, but I also don't like to go too dark with my outfits either (I did say just a lil' bit less bright). So this is my idea of something somewhere in the middle. I love printed dresses which is something you might already know by now, so including one in this blog post was inevitable! I adore the rusty floral print on this one so I tried to match that colour in the shoe choice and bag choice. How stunning is that bag?! And look how comfy those espadrille flatforms look! Such a cute lil' outfit for a day roaming the city streets or if you're heading for some food/drinks!
7. I think it's time for a casual outfit, don't you?

NOW THIS is something I'd throw on to lounge around in, but I'd definitely feel stylish as hell if I went out in it too. I lived in cycling shorts last summer and I still live in them a lot when chilling at home, so I imagine I'll be wearing them very often throughout summer. I love the look of cycling shorts with a cropped jumper so I'd definitely style them with this pink one (pink is my fave), to go with those cute pink socks and my beloved Fila Disruptors.
BARGAIN ALERT: I bought my white/pink junior Filas from JD for only €32 a while back, and yes they are still available! You can get my exact ones in size 4 right now - be quick! But if you're a different size there are very similar ones available in the junior section for €75. Sadly though, if you're bigger than a 5.5 you'll have to buy the adult Fila Disruptors and a pink/white colour combo doesn't exist in that section (WHY?!).
8. I couldn't just not mention polka dots, let's be real.

So unless you've been living under a rock the past 18 months you'll know polka dots are the absolute go-to print all year round but particularly for Spring and Summer. The amount of clothes I own featuring a polka dot print is getting out of hand. But I saw this PLT polka dot puff sleeve crop top and.... yes I bought it. You can buy a skirt to wear it as a co-ord like I've styled it here and look super cute heading to the beach/a festival/day out/whatever! And how cute is it with the matching headband from Boohoo, omg. I love to match hairbands to outfits so this is definitely how I'd wear the outfit!
For the bag, I remembered I had spotted this pink mini bag a while back which has actually crossed my mind everyday - I love it so much, I'll have to just buy it! Finally I chose some pink espadrille sandals to finish off the look. To me there's something so lovely about a white outfit with pink accessories. But of course you could style the co-ord with any colour accessory you like!
9. Puff sleeves are always a winner.

I know I just mentioned puff sleeves in the last outfit but I'm obsessed with them. There so elegant and make any top or dress look that bit more expensive, pretty and flattering! So when I spotted this dress at & Other Stories site I was SOLD. It's so simple it makes the perfect example for "less is more"! I'd wear this with the same straw crossbody bag I mentioned earlier and also the same H&M brown espadrilles. If you needed to wear another layer a blazer would work perfectly with this dress, or a denim jacket is another good option. This is a dress you could buy and wear year after year - and that's what you want when adding to your wardrobe!
10. Not ready to say goodbye to the satin midi skirt trend yet!

As you know I'm a sucker for satin midi skirts and have been raving about them for all of 2019 so far... And, well, that's not about to end anytime soon. I wanted to include them in this blog post because I know I'll be wearing some of mine right through to the end of summer, and I'll need to style them for day-to-night outfit changes.
I've just ordered this diamante belt from AliExpress (after months of trying to find an affordable one elsewhere), and I can't wait for it to arrive so I can use it to glam up lots of daytime outfits for nights out. This basic white cowl neck bodysuit paired with the satin skirt, finished off with the diamante belt on top is so easy to throw together and you'll look so glam for the entire night! I don't have heels in this picture but I'd wear my usual go-to perspex block heels with this outfit. LOVE IT.
11. Comfort is key.

Finally I have this lilac utility shirt dress. I saw this on IGTV this morning and it looked amazing - even nicer than the picture of it here. Lilac is a fave colour of mine so I really want this piece! Shirt dresses are so comfortable to wear so I'll never stop going on about them. I paired this with some fab lilac retro sunglasses and of course my Fila Disruptors which I just wear with everything tbh. Whenever I go shopping or exploring the citysummer during the I wear a dress with comfy shoes so this outfit is exactly my thing! a Although the material in this dress looks heavy so I won't be wearing it on a hot day... But we don't get many of those in Ireland anyway of course!
So that's it from me on how I'd style the pieces I love online right now! Hope you enjoyed reading and got some inspo, or at least liked some of the individual items enough to consider how YOU would style them. Everybody's tastes are different and everyone wears things their own way so I just wanted to remind you of that before I finish this post - I don't want to tell people what to wear or how to! But I do hope you liked how I styled these outfits and I hope to have you back reading my next blog post!
Thanks so much for reading,
Love,
Aisling
