Hey! I just want to write a little bit about my first experience of attending an event as a blogger, which happened at the end of May when I went to the annual PLT Summer Party! I was lucky enough to be invited by Burrell Marketing & Publicity to this amazing event - it's one people look forward to every year because PrettyLittleThing are known to throw great parties. I can't explain how grateful I am to have had the chance to go to this and meet so many amazing people, especially as I am only new to blogging! I remember last year PLT had a Summer Party, and when I saw photos I was so angry at myself for not having started my blog (I was scared for years!), so I told myself I'd start it and do everything I could to be at their next Dublin event - and it worked out for me! I'm so so happy I've done all of this and achieved one of my goals already, it just inspires me to keep working at my blog and go further with it, and I've learned that if you tell yourself you're going to make something happen, it will. Anyway, let's get on with the blog post!
For the event I wore a PLT dress of course, as did most people attending which was nice.
You can buy my dress here if you'd like!

The event was held in Krystle on Harcourt Street and the place was decorated so perfectly for PLT. Everywhere you looked there was a PLT wall, PLT cushions, PLT balloons, PLT cocktails (free bar!), pink candyfloss, pink popcorn, pink jellies, the list goes on! The fab part was that Krystle has a pink kinda theme itself anyway so it was the perfect venue for this.I wish I took more photos of how amazing everything looked - it was OTT but in the best way! The music was brilliant from start to finish and everyone was in a good mood, spreading positivity and friendliness. For me all of this was so new so it was the nicest experience!

Luckily I organised with a few girls from Instagram for us to go together so that helped a lot with the nerves (for all of us)! I've never been the type to go places where I wouldn't know anybody, or go out to meet new people, because I'm a really anxious person - BUT honestly, this experience helped so much! As soon as I met the girls I was going with we got along as if we had known each other years. And really every conversation I had with others at the event was the same - everyone was so easy to talk to and super friendly! I had the chance to talk to so many lovely girls, and we all had so much fun dancing and drinking I can actually say it was one of the best nights out I've EVER had! Considering I went there knowing nobody, and left feeling like I'd had one of my best nights out ever, really says it all! Everyone who went was saying it was the best event they had been to.
At the end of the event we were given goody bags and we also kept some cushions (sshh!) as momentos! The goodybag included a fabulous sarong to wear over a bikini/swimsuit, a Nip&Fab face mask, lots of body gems and face gems for festivals, and Barry M nail varnish. After leaving Krystle we headed to Xico for some more bops before heading home and suffering the effects of all those Gins the next day haha.

I had a ball at this event and I'd like to thank Burrell Marketing and Publicity, as well as PrettyLittleThing for having me. I had the pleasure of meeting Umar Kamani, CEO of PrettyLittleThing while I was there to get a photo with him (it's blurred so I won't include it), his success is truly inspiring and in person he was such a gent. This is an event I will always remember and I made some true friends which is the best part! I can't wait to attend more in future and write more about them.
Thanks for reading!
Love,
Aisling
